Every fitness guru has the answer to why you’re not achieving your goals and will tell you that there is some special reason you’re not losing fat/getting stronger. They will gladly sell you a pill or funny looking gimmick device that looks like it will solve your problems. You buy their product, use it, then lose interest, and read another guru’s website where they sell you a different pill or device. It’s a circle of disappointment and you’re constantly looking for the reason why you’re not making progress.

We can’t blame people for falling into this trap. They don’t know any better. We don’t offer special looking devices or magic pills that will make you lose 30lbs in 15 days. One, it’s impossible to lose so much fat in that short of a time frame, and two, we prefer to help people by teaching them the importance of habits and how behavior change is the key to long-term success. If you landed here thinking you’re going to lose 30lbs in your first month you may want to go click elsewhere. At Iron Age Strength, you will deal with reality and learn what it actually takes to reach your goals. The solution is simple, effective and works. The only requirement from you is that you have patience and trust the process. We don’t make meal plans or send you spreadsheets telling you what to eat. You are not a child and we are not your parents. During the initial stages of fat loss the focus will be on habits and small changes to your food choices. Every couple of weeks, a new habit will be introduced. That, combined with a strength training schedule, will already give you results both in the gym and at home. You get to choose how you track progress and the foods you eat.

What we do at Iron Age Strength is take your life situation into account along with your goals and come up with a plan to get you on your health journey. You will be held accountable for your choices and be supported every step of the way. The goal is to not have you as a lifetime client but to learn the habits and behavior changes needed so that you can be independent and continue your health journey without supervision.
